This is Jeong Mi Mun, director of Asan Gallery. Asan Gallery has experienced so many things and learned a lot through experimental thinking and endless challenges, in the belief that nothing can be changed if one is not leading.
Asan Gallery developed our own strategies in an international scale to overcome the limits of regional inferiority in planning and marketing and win international reputation. These strategies have been successfully implemented in many overseas activities in the United States, Europe, East Asia, Middle East, etc. We are so proud of ourselves in that our efforts make Asan Gallery lead Korean wave of arts in some way unawares
To enlarge overseas business activities, Asan Gallery pioneered an export outlet through a branch business of Korea Trade - Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). This laid the foundation of an increase in sales. In addition, artists working for Asan Gallery became international artists through overseas art fairs and various activities, which is the future value of Asan Gallery.
We play key roles in developing regional art culture through planning exhibition and encouraging promising but hidden artists to work hard by providing them a chance to enter into a professional art world. These activities are our mission and a way as retuning some of our profits to society. We promise you that we will put more efforts into expanding Korean wave of arts as a representative gallery in Korea, with bigger dream in step with the era of globalization.
